Beetroot pachadikerala style beetroot pachadi
Hello everyone!!Today we are going to show the recipe of beetroot pachadi.Beetroot pachadi is a very good accompaniment for rice and usually prepared during onam feast in Kerala beetroot pachadi has light sweetness,sourness and spiciness.******Hope you guys will be trying out our recipe and if you like this recipe please take a moment to comment below :)
INGREDIENTS:
- Beetroot-1 no
- curd-1/2 cup
- grated coconut-4 tablespoon
- mustard-1 teaspoon
- cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- green chilli-2
- curry leaves
- coconut oil
- salt
- dried red chilli
- water
DIRECTIONS:
- Grate the beetroot
- To a grinder add coconut,cumin,mustard and grind it by adding little water
- take a kadai,heat oil
- add the grated beetroot and salt and saute it well.
- into this pour the previously prepared coconut mixture.
- cook for some minute until raw smell of coconut disappears
- turn off the flame and add curd. make sure to mix the curd well,else there are chances for curd to curdle.
- mix well until the curd combines well and turns into smooth consistency
- now in a small kadai,heat oil and splutter mustard,dried red chilli and few curry leaves
- pour this over pachadi and mix well
- our beetroot pachadi is ready:)
