Today we will be sharing the recipe of tres leches cake/milk cake.This easy tres leches cake melts
 in your mouth and requires just 15 minutes of hands on prep!!This is an authentic 
three milk cake your family will love.

Ingredients:
For cake:

  • Eggs-3no
  • Flour-1&1/4 cup
  • Sugar-1 cup(measure it and then powder to 1 cup)
  • Baking powder-1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt-a pinch
  • Flavorless oil-1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence-1/2 teaspoon
For milk mixture;
  • Milk-1 cup
  • Whipping cream-1/2 cup
  • Condensed milk-according to your taste
  • evaporated milk-1/2 cup
For topping;
  • Whipping cream-1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon
  • Powder sugar-according to your taste
Directions:
1.Heat oven to 180°c. Lightly oil and line the base side of a cake tin.
2.To a bowl, add egg,sugar with a pinch of salt, beat it with an electric hand whisk until foamy.
3.Add vanilla essence, oil and beat again.
4.Now to this, add flour and baking powder. Uses spatula to fold everything together.
5.If you are using oven you can pour this into previously prepared baking tin, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until a skewer inserted to the center comes out clean
6.If you’re not using oven you can pour the same cake batter into a saucepan and cook it for 30 to 35 minutes in stove .Make sure the flame is low.
7.Meanwhile mix together the evaporated milk (or you can use milk powder instead),milk, whipping cream and condensed milk.
8.Leave the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the tin then ease a knife around the side. Poke holes all over the surface with a skewer (or fork)then pour over the half milk mixture.
After 5 minutes or so ,most of it should have soaked into the cake .Leave for another five minutes, then transfer to a plate and pour over some of the remaining milk. Leave to cool
9.In a bowl, whip the whipping cream until soft peaks add sugar and vanilla essence in between and whip again
10.Spread the cream over the cake and decorate it as per your choice
11.Our tres leches cake or milk cake is ready
